Wedding weight loss advice ?

mailersky asked:

I am getting married at the end of June and really want to lose those last fifteen pounds that have been hanging around for about a year now. I have really tightened up my diet and I am working out more. I am losing about 1/2-1 lb a week. I am concerned the weight loss will slow down as time goes on and not come off by my wedding date. Any advice from from those that have succeeded with losing weight before their wedding would be helpful. Thanks !
I am currently 5′7″ and weigh 154

    Lose weight, Lose Fat

towards the end of the time, you have to increase the intensity of your cardiovascular exercise and mix things up.

    Lose weight, Lose Fat

First off, let me congratulate you on your current progress. I know how hard it is. I just took off twenty pounds and I’m headed for another 20 more (to be 145 :-)

You don’t say what your current weight, height, or age are and these are all very important in calculating calorie needs. You need this information to compute your basal metabolic rate and resting metabolic weight. caloriesperhour.com has some great weight loss calculators.

You may need to adjust you calculations as you continue to lose weight because as you lose weight, you will require less calories to maintain your current weight. As long as you are able to maintain a deficit that allows you to loose one to two pounds a week, you should be fine.

One last word of caution–do NOT starve yourself. This will cause your metabolism to slow down and sabotage your progress! Moreover, make sure you are getting adequate fat intake so that your body is processing fat soluble vitamins.

If you click on the link below and then in PHASE # 1 — NO CARBS you will see the very first plan, i’m about to leave phase # 2 but haven’t had time to post it yet. I will keep posting important info for the rest of the group, you’re more than welcome to join or to just to check out the different diets & recipes we are working on.

    Thanks!!

P.S. I’m not trying to sell anything, I’m just looking around for more people to share my diet and experiences with. Also, it’s always nice to have some support and hear what has worked for others.

    Losing weight without starving yourself

Hi there, I used the following before my wedding and it was great. if you want to lose weight, improve your health generally, and have more energy then getting some nutritional help is vital. Once your body starts to absorb the right nutrients and vitamins and protein then you’ll be amazed how quickly you will feel the difference, usually within the first 48 hours if you get the right supplements and help. I had no energy and felt just generally rotten all round so I sought the advice of a nutritional coach (whose advice was FREE) and got myself some great products, I even got free samples before I got started so I could see just how good they were!! There is a website called myhealthabc.com If go on there and fill out the details page you will get a call with no pressure about what you need. There is a mall area as well that’s got some great info and its all set out with easy to follow headings so you can find what you want. It’s so easy and the stuff they have is excellent. I have been using their products for over two years and I feel great. I lost 70 pounds in less than seven months!! My sister lost 60 pounds in five months.

    Lose weight, Lose Fat

First off congrats on your wedding!

Your right that it will get harder and harder to lose weight as you keep dropping pounds. Even though you fixed your diet you should look for more ways to improve your diet. If you have the time, you should go for 6 to 8 mini meals a day and make sure not to cut out all the fat calories. Your body does need some fat to function.

High intensity cardio is good but be sure to lift weights as well. You could do a quick 20 minute weight workout before your cardio. I’d suggest circuit workout where you do ham curls then go right to calfs with out a break. It will be a nice warm up for your cardio workout.

If you need more tips check out . They have a bunch of fitness articles I found helpful.

    Good Luck

I was also going to say that you should probably mix it up a little, and bring up the intensity of your workouts.
