why does the oat bran cereal i bought contain saturated fat?

The oat bran that i bought has 0.6g of saturated fat per serving (25g). I thought it is supposed to be 0g because oat bran cereals are healthy. Help please!

    a little bit of saturated fat is not bad for you, over excessive of saturated fat is bad and trans fat is even worse

    It depends is it sweetened in any way? More than just oats bran is probably in it. But, 0.6 grams of sat fat is not really that much assuming your other meals are not high in sat or trans fat.

    In any case, .6 g is pretty small, but as you NOW know, READ the label BEFORE you buy it.

    That’s the deceptive thing about ingredients, one might be talked up as having health benefits but others might be less than desireable.
    Next time you shop, read the lables in the store, that way you can make the decision to eat it or not before you spend the bucks…
