What can I do with a bag of fat free cheddar cheese? Everyone in my family hates the taste and texture?

Lori K asked:

of this stuff, but my teenager accidentally picked up a bag. Any good suggestions of some way to make fat free cheese palatable?

Put in in salad. When it’s not heated up and melty it’s not bad.

I’m sure there is someone who has a more creative idea, but I for one would suggest mixing it 50/50 with real cheese in any recipe until it is gone, anything with a bit of spiceiness will help mask the flavor. Of course I’d probably end up tossing it, it really is nasty stuff.

Chili-cheese dogs. There’s plenty of flavor in the chili and the hot dog that the cheese should be overpowered anyway.

melt it and put it on toast, or better still put it over a nice tuna-pasta bake (or something similar).

low fat cheese tastes okay melted. I’d say in a salad it would stand out quite a bit.

Go with topping on chili or chili dog- the chili will have enough kick to overpower the cheese. Also, on a baked potato if you also add butter, sour cream and bacon.
