What is a good excercise plan that I can do to lose weight and NOT gain muscle right now?

I need someone to help me with a workout plan where I can lose weight bt not gain muscle right now. I am about 170 lbs and I want to get down to at least 150 before the summer timeI have been doing the elliptical for 60 minutes since January and have not lost any weight just gain a few pounds. Can someone please help me!!

    Lose weight, Lose Fat

    Walking up the stairs instead of taking the elevator, walking uphill also helps

    But you must also watch you diet, leave out one item that you like, like potato chips

    a 60 minute elliptical jog/walk is not enough. Even if you do this exercise then eat that much then the calories you’ve lost were replaced and even gained more. An exercise + a proper diet are needed in losing weight. One of the basics is that limit carbohydrate intake.
